PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy when obtaining data for a luminescence analysis from a plurality of adsorbent regions capable of emitting light. SOLUTION: An optical fiber 23 is arranged so that its light emitting end 25 is opposite to an acceptance surface of a CCD chip 34, and its light incidence end 24 is opposite to the plurality of adsorbent regions 4 of a unit 1 for analyzing biochemical luminescence through a mask 41. The mask 41 has pores 43, each of which corresponds to the plurality, 3×3, of adsorbent regions 4 and is in a size approximately identical to one of the adsorbent regions 4. The mask 41 is moved by a mask motion control section 42 at one minute interval, and nine detections are carried out, and then the amount of the luminescence is detected, which is emitted from all of the adsorbent regions 4. The luminescence emitted from the adsorbent regions 4 adjacent to object adsorbent regions 4 to be measured is covered by the mask 41, thereby reducing the influence of noise light such as a crosstalk and the like caused by the luminescence emitted from the adjacent adsorbent regions 4.
