<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for obtaining easily a printed image with an image quality users desire by means of recommending an appropriate trimming size. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus calculates the recommended trimming size, by using a size of an image forming region where printing by a printer is prepared and request resolution requested to perform a half-tone process by a printer driver.
