<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary positive electrode activator for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with excellent battery properties, especially, in over discharge property, cycle property, high-temperature property, and output property or the like, with little swelling of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: In the auxiliary positive electrode activator for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery at least having a lithium transition metal complex oxide of spinel structure, the lithium transition metal complex oxide has at least one kind of element selected from a group consisting of transition metal elements, elements of second, 13th, and 14th groups in the periodic table, and halogen elements, and that, lithium exists at a 16c site of a crystal structure of the lithium transition metal complex oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
