<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer storage container in which the quantity of a developer supplied to a developing part of an image forming apparatus is kept constant without being influenced by the quantity of the developer stored in the storage container. <P>SOLUTION: The developer storage container is composed of a cylindrical container main body for storing the developer used for image formation and a supporting member for freely rotatably supporting the container main body. Further, the container main body is constituted of a 1st cylindrical container part 33 having a bottom, a 2nd cylindrical container part 34 having a bottom and a 3rd cylindrical container part 35. And in the 3rd container part 35, a 1st recessed part 41 which is recessed inward in the radial direction is formed on the outer peripheral part and a 2nd recessed part 42 is formed in a position facing the 1st recessed part 41. In the 1st recessed part 41, a discharge hole 43 for discharging the developer is arranged on the downstream side in the axial rotating direction of the container main body, and also, a cylindrical restriction member 43a for controlling the discharge quantity of the developer is arranged in the discharge hole 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
