<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiator for an impact dot head excellent in a radiating property. <P>SOLUTION: The radiator 3 of the impact dot head 1 is an aluminum forging integrally constituted of a cup type radiating body 30, radiating fins 33 provided on an outer circumference 31a of the cylindrical drum 31, and a heat collecting projection 34 provided on the inner section thereof are integrally formed. A groove 33a is formed on each of the radiating fins 33 at the same portion in a view along a direction of movement of the head. The heat collecting projection 34 is positioned on a gap between driving coils as heating sources of the head section 2. The radiator 3 has a good heat radiating property because the radiator 3 is made of an integrated forging. The generated heat is efficiently radiated by the heat collecting projection 34. As an air flows through the grooves 33a when the head 1 is moved, the heat radiating effect by the radiating fins 33 can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
