<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply system stably supplying toner to a developing device by effectively preventing toner clogging or damage to a carrying means, etc., even when toner is not ejected from a supply port. <P>SOLUTION: Toner stored in a container body 11 is fed to a developing device 304 through the supply port 130. The container body 11 is provided with a toner feed-out part 13 installed along the width direction and having the supply port 130 and also a storing part 14 installed in an orthogonal direction to the width direction of the toner feed-out part 13 and storing the toner. The toner feed-out part 13 is provided with a first carrying means 20 carrying the toner inside the toner feed-out part 13 from one end side to the other end side in the width direction, in a state of crossing the supply port 130 and a returning means 23 returning the toner in the toner feed-out part 13 to the other end side of the first carrying means 20.
