摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a wavelength multiplex transmission system that the merit of the wavelength multiplex transmission system cannot be utilized when signals having different information quantities from one node to a plurality of other nodes, because each node can use only one wavelength channel for transmitting the signals with each other in a conventional wavelength routing apparatus, although a wavelength routing apparatus using a cyclic AWG is applied because lights of a plurality of wavelengths are transmitted through a single optical fiber to form a full-mesh type network configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In the wavelength routing apparatus provided with a cyclic arrayed waveguide grating having M (M: integer of two or more) pieces input ports and M pieces of output ports, p(p: integer of less than M) pieces of output ports are connected to p pieces of input ports one to one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
