<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction-preventing external memory interface circuit capable of inputting only normal data outputted from an external memory into an internal circuit, and normally and continuously operating the internal circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This malfunction-preventing external memory interface circuit has: a data input synchronizing circuit 14 for sampling data outputted from the external ROM 50 by use of a clock; and an error decision circuit 15 deciding that data are effective when the data input synchronizing circuit 14 takes a sample of the same data successively at least two times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
