<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to synchronize sampling even if a low-performance oscillator whose actual oscillation frequency is largely different from its rated frequency is used in a variation sampling system, in which the signals of electrical variation at a plurality of points are sampled in synchronization based on the oscillation frequency of the oscillator at each point. <P>SOLUTION: In the variation sampling system, the signals of electrical variation at a plurality of points, such as a master station 1 and a slave station 2, as in a differential relay, are sampled in synchronization based on the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 11 and 21 at each point.
