<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component positioning carrier device 11 which can improve positioning carrier efficiency of a component. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary table 16 is rotated, a plurality of positioning blocks 18 provided on a circumference of the rotary table 16 at regular intervals are moved one by one to a component supply position 19 and a component unloading position 20, and supply operation and unloading operation of a component are carried out parallel. When the positioning block 18 moves to the component supply position 19 and the component unloading position 20 by means of a cam provided on a rotation track of the rotary table 16, a chuck mechanism 29 of the positioning block 18 is opened. While the positioning block 18 moves from the component supply position 19 to the component unloading position 20 by means of the cam, the component is positioned by closing the chuck mechanism 29 of the positioning block 18. Opening/closing operation of the chuck mechanism 29 and rotation operation of the rotary table 16 are carried out parallel.
