<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition having excellent alkali solubility in an unexposed part and causing no decrease in the alkali solubility with time even when the composition is stored in a severe atmosphere such as high temperature and high humidity, and to provide an image recording material having a negative recording layer using the above polymerizable composition. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains: (A) a dye having absorption at 700 to 1,300 nm wavelength; (B) a radical polymerization initiator having an alkali-soluble group; and (C) a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
