PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the consuming energy of a fuel pump, offer compacter and simpler construction as a whole, and reduce cost. SOLUTION: This system comprises a fuel pump assembly 6 provided in a main chamber 3 of a fuel tank 2, a fuel supply line 20 and a fuel return line 21 connected to a discharge port of the fuel pump 8, and a pressure regulator 10 connected to the fuel return line 21. A main jet pump 16 and a subsidiary jet pump 18 are provided in a reservoir pot 5 of the main chamber 3, and both jet pumps 16, 18 are connected to the pressure regulator 10. The main jet pump 16 and the main chamber 3 communicate with each other via a suction line 22 and the subsidiary jet pump 18 and a subsidiary chamber 4 communicate with each other via a suction line 23. Negative pressure generated when fuel passes through both jet pumps 16, 18 sucks up fuel from the main chamber 3 and the subsidiary chamber 4 into the reservoir pot 5 via both suction lines 22, 23.
