PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coagulant for wastewater treatment which is easy of the treatment operation and which can miniaturize a wastewater treatment apparatus. SOLUTION: After the coagulant for removing COD components in wastewater is added to the wastewater at a concentration of 100 mg/L and the wastewater is agitated for 10 minutes, the sedimentation rate of coagulated floc is 0.3-3.0 cm/minute during a stationary sedimentation.
