PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing auxiliary device specially designed for a video camera or the like, which is devised such that the device can be installed even in a narrow space, without disturbing the people around the user and moreover, can photograph a subject directly below the video camera. SOLUTION: The photographing auxiliary device is designed so as to be attached to a hand rail. The photographing auxiliary device has two rotary shafts. By rotating one of them on an arbitrary radius, the video camera projects from the hand rail, which makes it possible to take photo-video of a subject which is directly below the video camera. This solves the problem in which the photographing auxiliary device mainly having three legs, is difficult to use in a narrow place, such as an area of the second floor of a gymnasium, as it may disturb people around the user, and video of a subject directly below the video camera cannot be taken from such a place.
