PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational sensor which can be made compact, without causing a defect of the body section of a magnetoelectric transducer and spoiling its insulation property. SOLUTION: The rotational sensor 10 is provided with a Hall IC 13 which is arranged on a circuit board 12 inside a cover 15, and converts the magnetic energy of a magnetic field which changes by the rotational motion of a magnetic substance 5 outside the cover 15 into electric energy. The Hall IC 13 has a body section 17 separated at an interval from the circuit board 12, and connecting pins 18 provided in the bottom face 17a of the body section. Each connecting pin 18 is composed of a base part 18a which protrudes outside the body section 17 from the bottom face 17a of the body section 17, an intermediate part 18b which stretches towards the side of the body section 17 from the tip of the base part, and a tip part 18c which stretches in a direction of separating from the body section 17 in approximately parallel with the base part 18a from the tip of the intermediate part.
