Reinforcing elements (10) in a tyre (1) are each obtained by laying down a continuos thread-like element (11) into coil (11a) extending around the geometric rotation axis (X) of the tyre itself. Accomplishment of each coil (11a) involves the step of superposing the thread-like element (11) upon itself at a plurality of points, so as to create a network structure on a support elements (13). Also described is a tyre (1) into which reinforcing elements (10) made in accordance with the invention are integrated.
