The collapsible pushchair has S-shaped frames (1) mounted either side of the carrycot (13) or seat and composed of a flat bent axle support arc (3), a spring arc (1.1) which extends seamlessly over a 180 degree angle, and a contoured arc (4) with handle bar (5). A support arc (2) is mounted sickle-shaped inside the spring arc and its support width is variable in dependence on a predetermined spring stiffness. The axle support arc supports a skid on the side facing the ground so that the frame can be used as a rocking cradle. The carrycot or seat is hung self-levelling inside the frames and the frames are coupled through coupling sleeves (6).
