An immunogenic composition comprises at least two S. pneumoniae proteins wherein one is selected from the polyhistidine triad family (PhtX) and the other is selected from Choline binding protein family (CbpX), CbpX truncates, LytX family, LytX truncates CbpX truncate-LytX truncate chimeric proteins, pneumolysin (Ply) and Sp128, or one is selected Cpb X family, CbpX truncates, CbpX truncate-LytX truncate chimeric proteins and the other is selected from PhtX family, LytC, Ply and Sp128. The composition can be used in the manufacture for the prevention of pneumonia or otitis media. |
