Also described is a chimeric monoclonal antibody derived from the murine anti-idiotypic monoclonal antibody 1E10 that recognizes murine MAb P3 wherein the murine monoclonal antibody is produced by the hybridoma cell line with deposit number ECACC 97112901, and wherein the hypervariable domains of the heavy and light chains comprises the following sequences: Heavy chain: CDR1: SYDIN, CDR2: WIFPGDGCTKYNEKFKG, CDR3: EDYYDNSYYFDY Light chain: CDR1: RASQDISNYLN, CDR2: YTSRLHSG, CDR3: QQGNTLPWT. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising the antibodies are useful for the treatment of malignant tumors of breast and melanomas.
