PLATE-LIKE MATERIAL FOR INK JET PRINTING AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate-like material for ink jet printing which can inexpensively produce a small number of products and a method for producing the plate-like material.

SOLUTION: The plate-like material 20 has a sheet-like ink jet recording body 21 which absorbs ink injected from a printing machine and a plate-like material main body 23 which is integrated with the back of the ink jet recording body 21. The back of the recording body 21 is coated with a molten synthetic resin extruded continuously from the die of a lamination layer molding machine. A sheet-like surface side member 26 is adhered to the back of the molten resin. A member in which the recording body 21 and the surface side member 26 are stuck together integrally through a lamination layer 22 is formed in advance. After that, a core material 27 having a corrugated cross section is placed between the surface side member 26 and a sheet-like back side member 28. The surface side member 26, the core material 27, and the back side member 28 are stuck together to produce the plate-like material 20 for ink jet printing.
