<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection apparatus which can prevent spreading of a liquid that leaks at the attachment and detachment time of a liquid container, and a liquid that leaks in a non setting state of the liquid container, without causing complication of the apparatus structure or enlargement of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid injection apparatus 100 has a liquid supply needle which is inserted to a liquid supply port formed at the liquid container at the setting time of the liquid container; a translation movable member 102 which is connected to the liquid container inserted in a container setting part, and is also translated in a parallel direction to a linear motion operation in association with the linear motion operation of the liquid container at the time when the liquid supply needle is inserted in the liquid supply port; and a liquid absorbing material 116 set at the translation movable member 102 so as to absorb the liquid which leaks from the liquid supply needle. The liquid absorbing material 116 is disposed in the vicinity of a liquid circulation hole of the liquid supply needle at the non setting time of the liquid container, and is translated together with the translation movable member 102 at the setting time of the liquid container and is displaced from the near position of the liquid circulation hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
