<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which can transfer a pointing device greatly in order to direct the execution of image processing by fixing region actually even when an endpoint at the time of designating the region of rectangle or the like is pretty dislocated from a "compensation execution button". <P>SOLUTION: In order to solve this subject, the system prepares a picture reading means for reading a picture; a display controlling means for displaying the picture read on a displaying device; a determining means for determining processing region which should be processed by predetermined image processing in such a manner that region designating operation on the image displayed on the displaying device is received; and a setting means for setting the operating region, as a region for directing the execution of the above-mentioned designated image processing to the processing region determined by the determining means, based on the endpoint of the region designating operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
