<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ultrafine pigment dispersion, transparent and not giving a bronze-like impression, excellent in color development, in fixation, and in dispersion stability, which is usable as a coating material, printing ink, plastics coloring agent, toner coloring agent, color filter, and coloring agent for inkjet recording ink. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ultrafine pigment dispersion contains a color pigment and insoluble inorganic particles, wherein, relating to the particle number distribution and dispersion particle diameters in the solid portion of the dispersion, the particle diameter at cumulative 90% (P90) in the particle diameter distribution is ≤50 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
