<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy, and to provide acceleration feeling with which the driver is satisfied. <P>SOLUTION: An ECT (electronically controlled transmission)_ECU (electronic control unit) executes a program comprising a step (S120) for detecting an accelerator opening when an accelerator is shifted from an OFF state to an ON state (YES in S110) in a state of an engine that fuel cut control is performed during coasting operation on a downward slope, a step (S140) for calculating a required acceleration corresponding to the accelerator opening when the accelerator opening is smaller than a threshold value (YES in S130 ), a step (S150) for realizing the required acceleration by up-shifting of an automatic transmission and loosening an engine brake, and determining whether or not fuel cut of the engine can be kept, and a step (S160) for lowering engine brake performance by the up-shifting of the automatic transmission according to the accelerator opening when the required acceleration is realized by the up-shifting (YES in S150). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
