PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude a risk that mounting parts 71 to 74 and the like to a body 25a will degrade the design of a front panel or the like of an indoor unit 2 of an air conditioner 1.

SOLUTION: The indoor unit 2 of the air conditioner 1 comprises the body 25a, the front panel 26b and a design panel 83. The front panel 26b is opaque and is molded integrally with the mounting parts 74. The design panel 80 is transparent and is mounted on the front panel 26b. The design panel 26b is provided on a back face 262 with a design layer 27b. The design layer 27b is at least colored.
