摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor capable of appropriately forming a large, high-density and flat porous body, and provide an intermediate article appropriate for reducing resistance and impedance of the solid electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the solid electrolytic capacitor includes the steps of: using a metal die A comprising a pair of presser blocks 11 that face each other and are horizontally movable, to fill an upper opening-like space 15 that is formed between the pair of presser blocks 11, with a metal 30 having a valve action; and moving the pair of presser blocks 11 closely to the middle of the space 15 for press-molding of powder 30 to form a flat porous body 31. The method uses the metal die A comprising an elevating block 12 that is capable of vertically moving above the space 15 and moving the pair of presser blocks 11 closely to the middle of the space 15 when falling, and press-molding of the powder 30 is performed by moving down the elevating block 12.
