PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for obtaining a multidimensional data group to an object moving at a high speed. SOLUTION: A method and a device for collecting and processing a volumetric scan to a periodically moving object are provided. The volumetric scan is performed to an object which periodically moves e.g. repeats one cycle-motions with passage of time. A time interval (206) in the periodical motions of the object is specified in the volumetric scan, and the volumetric scan is restructured on the basis of the time interval (206).
