PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet multiplate clutch capable of reducing the sagging and dragging torque of a friction plate and improving the frictional characteristic. SOLUTION: This friction plate 60 of the multiplate clutch is constituted by attaching a frictional material 62 to an approximately annular core plate 61. An oil passage 63 communicated from an inner peripheral edge 73 to an outer peripheral edge 74 of the frictional material 62, and an oil groove 64 formed on the inner peripheral edge 73 and having a closed end part on the way of a frictional face are formed, and both of the oil passage 63 and the oil groove 64 are gradually narrowed from the inner peripheral edge toward an outer periphery.
