PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent the occurrence of noise from a reduction mechanism in a power steering device which provides driving force of an electric motor for steering auxiliary to a steering shaft through a motion change mechanism such as the reduction mechanism or a ball screw or the like. SOLUTION: The output of the electric motor 20 is given to the steering shaft 9 through the reduction mechanism 23 and the motion change mechanism 24. A rotary cylinder 28 of the motion change mechanism 24 is supported with a first and second bearings 30, 31 and respective bearings 30, 31 are held in a second divided housing 37 among a first and second divided housing 36, 37. This prevents relative positioning accuracy of the first and second bearings 30, 31 from being affected by coupling accuracy between respective divided housings 36, 37. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
