PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bread cutting device appropriately cutting off an edge part from a slice of bread in a relatively soft state in a stage where a short time has passed after baking. SOLUTION: The bread cutting device (a second slicer) 3 is provided with: a pedestal 23 for placing the slice of bread obtained by slicing bread 1A; a fixture 41 for pressing and fixing the slice of bread 1B in the state of being placed on the pedestal 23, from above; and a disk cutter 75 for cutting the slice of bread 1B in a state of being fixed by the fixture 41.
