PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper die holder which is vertically and freely movably equipped with a cam member for operating an upper die clamp. SOLUTION: This upper die holder is structured such that it is equipped with the cam member 59 on the holder body 11 which is freely attachable/detachable in the lower part of the upper table 3 provided in a press brake, and that an upper die P is fixedly pressurized to the holder body 11 with the lower part of the upper die clamp 31 which is oscillated forwards and backwards by this cam member 59. At least on the front or the rear face of the cam member 59, there are provided, vertically stepwise, cam faces 61A, 61B, 61C for releasing, half clamping and full clamping respectively.
