PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device for an automobile preventing a seated person from sinking into a seat cushion. SOLUTION: In the seat device for the automobile with the seat formed with a cushion 1 by covering a cushion material 12 with an outer skin 13, the front lower part of the cushion material 1 is provided with a PP part 122 formed of expanded polypropylene and made higher in hardness than that of a urethane part 121 which is the other part of the cushion material 1, and the lower face of the PP part 122 is supported by an iron plate 113 for regulating the downward displacement of the lower face.
