A heating device having high heating efficiency, capable of locally heating a heated portion, capable of heating to a rated temperature in a very short time after starting heating, less producing large inrush current and flicker in lighting, having long lifespan, and capable of coping with a plurality of modes with different heating widths, an infrared lamp suited for the heating device, and a highly reliable electronic device with the heating device. In the infrared lamp, one or a plurality of heating elements formed in a shape having a specified width and extending in the longitudinal direction and having effectively longitudinally extending opening parts only at a part thereof in the longitudinal direction are sealed in a glass tube.
