<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing capable of inhibiting the intrusion of a large amount of foreign matters into a connecting rod bearing through a sliding face of the sliding bearing and a lubricant supply passage while increasing and securing a lubricant oil pressure in an oil groove in a main hole. <P>SOLUTION: In this sliding bearing 4 composed of an upper split bearing half 8 and a lower split bearing half 9, the oil groove 10 for circulating the lubricant is formed over the entire circumferential extent of the sliding face 8a of the upper split bearing half 8, the oil groove is opened to a junction part 8b through a crush relief 8c, and a bottom part 10a of the oil groove is formed in a state that a part at a junction part side in the circumferential direction of the crush relief is close to a central side of the upper split bearing half with respect to a part at a central side. As the intrusion of a large amount of foreign matters in the oil groove into the connecting rod bearing through the sliding face of the sliding bearing and the lubricant supply passage can be inhibited, and the amount of oil leaked from the crush relief can be reduced, the lubricant oil pressure can be increased and secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
