<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure from a distant point information about objects for designating a certain spatial position under control by a person. <P>SOLUTION: This object information sensing device 5 measures from a distant point information about objects 4, 4', 4'' which constitute at least one pointing device 1, 1', 1'' for designating a certain spatial position under control by a person. The object information sensing device 5 includes generation means 6, 7 for generating and radiating electromagnetic waves, a delay means 10 for delaying the electromagnetic waves with respect to time, and a means 8 for detecting the electromagnetic waves. Using the electromagnetic waves 14 generated, the electromagnetic waves 15 reflected back from the objects 4, 4', 4'', and the electromagnetic waves delayed by the delay means 10, the device calculates delay time to detect the relative positions between the device 5 and the objects 4, 4', 4''. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
