GOLF SWING CLASSIFICATION METHOD, GOLF SWING CLASSIFICATION APPARATUS, AND GOLF CLUB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify the golf swing of a golfer by making clear the difference in the golf swing itself in addition to the difference in the head speed of a golf club head regarding the golf swing by the golfer.

SOLUTION: The position of the grip section 20 of the golf club and the direction of the golf club shaft 19 of the golf club during a golf swing are measured. The position of the grip section 20 when the golf club shaft 19 faces in the horizontal direction based on the ground at the time of the follow-through of the golf swing is determined on a plane representing the position of the grip section 20 and the direction of the golf club shaft 19 when seen from the front surface of the golfer. A straight line in parallel with the horizontal direction which passes the determined position is made a reference line l. A distance from the reference line l of the grip section 20 when the golf club shaft 19 faces the direction orthogonal to the horizontal direction right before the follow-through is calculated as an I-F length, and the golf swing is classified by using the I-F length.
