PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which can control the level of center voltage of a differential signal with a small amplitude so as to be a desired value. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device comprises: a differential signal output circuit which outputs a differential signal; an amplitude control signal generating circuit which generates an amplitude control signal for controlling amplitudes of the differential signal to the differential signal output circuit; and a center voltage level control signal generating circuit which generates a center voltage level control signal for controlling the level of the center voltage of the differential signal. The differential signal output circuit outputs a differential signal with a center voltage level based on the center voltage level control signal and an output level based on the amplitude control signal. An area where the center voltage level control signal generating circuit is formed and an area where the differential signal output circuit is formed are placed on a semiconductor substrate, adjacent to each other so that operating characteristics of the transistors formed on each of these two areas become the same.
