PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D converter comprising a single flux quantum circuit using a flux quantum for an information carrier, a superconducting amplifier circuit driven by an AC current, and a semiconductor circuit that synchronizes operations of the circuits and transmits a data signal from the single flux quantum circuit to the semiconductor circuit. SOLUTION: An AC current acting like power supply for the superconducting amplifier circuit is applied as a master clock signal to the single flux quantum circuit and the semiconductor circuit, the operations of the circuits are synchronous with the master clock signal, and the single flux quantum circuit comprises a clock signal multiplier circuit, a distribution circuit and a storage circuit.
