PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with which image capturing can be performed with high resolution, without lowering the an aperture ratio. SOLUTION: A driving section 26 for moving a display unit 25 in the lateral direction of a pixel arrangement region is arranged at one end of the display unit 25, and an elastic member 27 consisting of a leaf spring etc., is arranged at the other end. A fulcrum section 28 is arranged between the driving section 26 and the display unit 25, and a fulcrum member 29 is also arranged between the elastic member 27 and the display unit 25. Image capturing is repeated, while the display unit 25 is slid little by little in the lateral direction by the driving section 26, so that even if the spacing between adjacent photoelectric conversion elements 12 is large, the image capturing can be performed with the high resolution and the high-resolution image capturing is made possible without the lowering of the aperture ratio.
