PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which excels in both of reproducibility of a secondary color of an image after being fixed and fold fixability and reduces filming. SOLUTION: The image forming method is provided for forming the full-color toner image by superposing electrostatic charge image developing toners of four colors; yellow, magenta, cyan, and black on a transfer material, wherein the at least one color of the four colors of the electrostatic charge image developing toners is a high large-diameter external additive content toner; the primary particle size of the high large-diameter external additive is 150 to 2,000 nm; the external additive content of the high large-diameter external additive content toner is 0.06 to 4.0mas%; and the external additive content of the low large-diameter external additive content toner is≤0.05mass%.
