PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for renewing a machine connecting portion of a resinoid disk grinding wheel, wherein the renewing work is carried out without a lot of time and labor and has no fear of generating faults, etc. on the renewal. SOLUTION: The disk type grinding wheel is collected after the use, and the remainder of a grinding stone portion is removed. The machine connecting portion of the resinoid disk grinding wheel is fixed to a molding die after removing the remainder of the grinding stone portion. A liquid resinoid grinding stone mixture material to become the grinding stone portion is poured into the molding die from above, and the grinding stone portion is hardened at a required temperature. Surface roughness of the portion for connecting the machine connecting portion of the grinding wheel with the renewed grinding stone portion after removing the remainder of the old grinding stone portion from the used grinding wheel is finished so as to be within the range from 5 to 200μm Rz.
