METHANE FERMENTATION TANK, TREATING METHOD, AND GAS COLLECTING UNIT TO BE USED THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane fermentation tank in which agitation with a simple unit can be carried out by using a generated gas without using power, and to provide a treating method and a gas collecting unit to be used in the methane fermentation tank. SOLUTION: The methane fermentation tank 20 for subjecting organic waste to methane fermentation is constituted so that the gas collecting unit 10 having a gas storing part 4 in the upper part for collecting/storing the generated gas and notched parts 3 which are arranged below the gas storing part at two or more positions on the side face and each of which has a function of discharging the collected gas in a mass and, arranged in a fermentative liquid in the methane fermentation tank. A plurality of the gas collecting units can be arranged horizontally or vertically in the methane fermentation tank. A cylindrical draft tube can be arranged in the upper part of the gas collecting unit to smoothen the agitation in the methane fermentation tank. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
