PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneader in which raw materials charged into a vessel repeatedly are allowed to pass through a kneading part during the kneading and are uniformly mixed, and which is suitably used for the preparation of foods, medicines and cosmetics. SOLUTION: This kneader for kneading the raw materials for foods, medicines and cosmetics is provided with: a kneading chamber for kneading the raw materials; and a screw arranged inside the kneading chamber and feeding the raw materials from the rear to the front while kneading the raw materials by rotation. The kneading chamber is equipped with: a charge port into which the raw materials are charged; and a discharge port provided in front of the tip of the screw and from which the kneaded materials are discharged. A hollow part for circulating the raw materials is provided around the screw. A control plate of regulating the raw materials fed by the screw so as to be fed back toward the rear of the screw is provided in the vicinity of the top end of the screw in the hollow part.
