PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavating agitator capable of being used for forming an agitating section uniformly and sufficiently mixing the pile circumferential liquid for fixing a knotted pile or the like in the ground, increasing adhesiveness with the pile circumferential ground and obtaining sufficient bearing capacity. SOLUTION: The excavating agitator put on an intermediate section of an excavation shaft for rotationally excavating a pile hole includes a chain wheel 21 put on a main shaft 13, a follower wheel 22 driven through a chain from the chain wheel 21, a coaxial pinion 24 with the follower wheel 22, a gear 26 outward fitted to the main shaft 13 engaging with the pinion 24 in a rotatable manner, an agitating wing 41 mounted on the gear 26 and a casing 31 coating the chain wheel 21, the follower wheel 22, the pinion 24 and the gear 26, outward fitting to the main shaft 13 through a sealing device and projecting a pair of reaction force supporting wings 35 to the outside.
