PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prestressed wooden building, by forming a skeleton of wooden column, beam, and girder for enhancing load bearing performance and rigidity by a tensile material, into a rigid-frame structure. SOLUTION: The wooden beam 2 is basically directly joined to the wooden column 1 by the tensile material (such as a steel rope 3) penetratingly inserted into the front and rear ends in the longitudinal direction of the beam 2. In this case, prestress is revealed inside the column 1 by the vertically penetrating tensile material, and the prestress is revealed by the tensile material in the wooden column 1 and/or the wooden beam 2 via a joining joint of a welding structure.
