PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time for leakage diagnosis of an evaporated fuel treatment system. SOLUTION: An evaporated fuel treatment system is sealed after pressure in the evaporated fuel treatment system including a fuel tank 5 is changed into a target pressure value Ptrg. A diagnostic part 25 sets a starting timing t4 on the basis of a timing t3' when the pressure in the evaporated fuel treatment system is changed from the target pressure value Ptrg to a peak pressure value Ptpeak. An amount of changeΔP2 between an inner pressure value Ptank for the evaporated fuel treatment system detected by a detection part 15 at the set starting timing t4 and an inner pressure value Ptank for the evaporated fuel treatment system detected by the detection part 15 at a finishing timing t5 set thereafter is calculated.
