PURPOSE: Provided is a capillary sintered agent for wire bonding, which minimizes breaking and wearing at the end of the capillary even under repeated wire bonding processes, decreases the pore content inside of the capillary and gives optimum toughness and hardness to the capillary. CONSTITUTION: The capillary sintered agent for wire bonding is obtained by the method comprising the steps of: mixing 75-79 wt% of alumina, 20 wt% of zirconia and 1-5% of magnesium oxide in the presence of a firing agent at a temperature of 80-100 deg.C and drying the mixture to form an AZM composite; pulverizing the AZM composite into spherical powder having a size of 40-150 micrometers. In addition, the AZM composite is introduced into a mold unit to form a molded product, and the molded product is treated by a first, a second and a third sintering steps to produce a sintered capillary for wire bonding. |
