Disclosed is a method for opening a sealed container having a foodstuff therein, wherein the container comprises a plurality of walls, at least one of which can be perforated. At least one of the walls is opened from the inside towards the outside. Also disclosed is a sealed container (10) for a foodstuff product, wherein the container comprises a plurality of walls (1, 2, 3) one of which (2) at least can be perforated from the inside towards the outside of the container.
