<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a good driving signal even if a pulse width of a pulsed light outgoing from especially a semiconductor laser is small. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser driving circuit is provided with two chip capacitors 51, 52 arranged near one side section of IC4 where terminals 42, 43 and 44 are arranged. Each one end of these capacitors 51, 52 is connected to a high potential power supply terminal 42, and each other end of these capacitors 51, 52 is connected to a low potential power supply terminal 43. These capacitors 51, 52 are used to reduce a ripple component which is superposed on a power supply voltage of IC4 accompanied with an action of a switching device 41. It is desirable that a distance D between a capacitor arranged near the terminals 42, 43, and 44 and the terminals 42, 43 and 44 is 10 mm or less, and it is more desirable that the distance D is 5 mm or less, and it is especially desirable that the distance D is 2 mm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
