<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which light can be converged sufficiently even if constitution is such that a plurality of light emitting points are provided closely, deterioration of a recording property can be prevented, and at least one of miniaturizing, thinning, and lightening weight can be realized. <P>SOLUTION: This device is the optical pickup device having a light source provided with a plurality of light emitting points closely, a light receiving means receiving reflected light from a medium and generating an electric signal, and an optical system converging the light from the light source and guiding the reflected light from the medium to the light receiving means, an absolute value of magnifying power of the optical system is 1/7-1/3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
